Coverage

Check coverage in your area

Our technicians maintain the record of connected areas across Pimicikamak territory. One phone call confirms what is available at your address.

Availability

The fastest way to find out is to ask

Fibre is being built out in stages, so availability depends on your specific address rather than the general area. Rather than have you guess from a map, call us and we will check the current build against your address while you are on the line.

If service has not reached you yet, we will note your address so you can be contacted when it does.

  • Have your full civic address ready
  • Ask about installation timing for your area
  • Ask which plan suits how many people are online at once

Service area

Where PimComm operates

PimComm serves Cross Lake, in Pimicikamak territory, Northern Manitoba. The backbone fibre connecting the region to national infrastructure was built through Kici Sipi Communications Corp, a joint venture between Pimicikamak and Norway House Cree Nation.

[PLACEHOLDER: confirm the exact list of neighbourhoods, roads, or zones currently serviceable, and whether any areas are scheduled but not yet live.]

Coming later

An interactive coverage map

A live coverage and outage map is planned. It will be added once the process for keeping it current is running, because a map that is out of date during an outage is worse than no map at all.

Until then, the phone line is the accurate source, and it is answered by people who can see the current build.
